Everyone loves taking photos of the sunset, and why wouldn’t they. The end, or start, of the day is beautifully full of color and change. However, there’s a lot more than just the sun moving past the horizon. Day two of the 30-day Challenge is looking at something as common as a sunset, differently. How can you convey this change without aiming you lens at the sun?

This photo utilizes the Rule of Thirds. The Rule of Thirds is very handy in taking photos like this because it helps you make fast choices that more often than not come out looking pretty incredible

Once again, notice the Rule of Thirds. Next notice the cat. Photos of cats are always winners. Side note, while looking for good example photos of No Sun Sunset/Sunrise Photos I found a Pintrest blog dedicated tocats at sunset, you're welcome

This photos gets to the point of todays exercise. This is called magic hour, the time of day just after sunset. It last for about 20 minutes and has some of the most beautiful light. The benefit of shooting in magic hour is everything receives a nice golden glow with little shadows and even highlights.
