Hillcrest AirBnB from Fort Awesome on Vimeo.
Creating a video for you AirBnb is a great way to introduce your property to guest without them ever being there. This particular renter wanted to showcase the location and it's proximity to key attractions around the city. We opted for a ran shot with location names tracked. This created a cool floating text effect. The only problem I ran into was a slight warping caused by the lens. Ideally I would of liked to use a prime lens for this. I didn't have one with my and had to use a veritable focus to get the local length I wanted. But, the star of the show was this beautiful apartment in the heart of downtown San Diego.

![]() Hello everyone, thanks for coming to check out my blog. I wish I was more interesting but, you know. I just wrapped on filming the first few episode of Passing Through. Passing Through is a fun travel show that's more centered on the small areas you pass through on ways to larger more robust cities. I really hope to focus of the history of these places. I'm very excited for the show and hope other will enjoy it. I'm updating my webpage to a layout that is easier to navigate. I did lose a few things in the move so I will be going back, cut and pasting my old entries here, because I'm lazy. If anything thing isn't here that should be please head over to Contact Me and let me know. Thank you for your understanding. The Digital Academy from Fort Awesome on Vimeo. Digital Academy
When crafting a video for your company it’s often best to start by asking yourself what’s the best way to get my message out to potential clients. That’s exactly what The Digital Academy did when we start coloration of their latest video. They simply wanted to their viewers to know about the services they offered. The choice to go with the tried and true formula of having someone of power, in this case the owner, addressing the audience directly. One of the key responsibilities of an editor is to make choices based on where the video is going to end up. In the case of the Digital Academy, it was going to go to three places. A newsletter, webpage, and YouTube. I created a heads-n-tales contact card that started at curtain, the start of the video. This way the thumbnail image would act as a business card. I greatly enjoyed working with The Digital Academy and would like to recommend them to any business looking to pump up their client influx.
